WHITEFISH — Junior thrower Zebadiah Boos was named the Frontier Conference outdoor field athlete of the week on Monday after winning both the discus and hammer throw competitions at the University of Providence Open.

Boos set a new program-best and school-record mark in the discus at the University of Providence Open with a distance of 46.71 meters. He also claimed a first-place finish in the hammer throw as he turned in a 45.25-meter performance on the Argos’ home field.

The honor is the second for Boos during the 2019 season and the fifth of his collegiate career.
