GREAT FALLS, Mont. – Argo men’s basketball adds another big name in Chinook’s Isaac Bell on Wednesday to a Letter of Intent, announced by head coach Steve Keller.
“We are very excited that Isaac Bell has committed to Argo men’s basketball,” said coach Keller. “Isaac has skill in all facets of the game.”
Bell, a 6-5 guard from Chinook, Montana, joins the Argos following a standout career at Chinook High School. Bell was a crucial element of Chinook’s undefeated 2018-19 regular season, which saw the Sugarbeeters capture the Northern C divisional championship and qualify for their first trip to state since moving from Class B to Class C.
During the 2017-18 season, Bell scored a career-high 51 points against Harlem. His senior season, Bell was earned All-Conference and All-State designations, averaging 11.8 points and 4.2 rebounds per contest for the Beeters.
“He can rebound, guard, and can shoot from beyond the arc,” expressed coach Keller. “He scored 51 in a game against Harlem last year, making 8 3-pointers in the game.”
In the classroom, Bell will look to pursue a degree in exercise science at the University of Providence.
“We think Isaac is going to develop into a very good player in our league,” said coach Keller.
