WHITEFISH — University of Providence center Parker Esary was named the Frontier Conference women’s basketball player of the week.
Esary, a 6-foot-1 sophomore, helped No. 18 Providence stay unbeaten by knocking off two top-25 opponents in Great Falls. The Argos beat No. 8 Westmont 75-70 and No. 22 Arizona Christian 100-87.
Esary averaged 21 points and 12 rebounds in the two contests. Esary shot 19 of 28 from the field and recorded her fourth and fifth double-double of the season.
Providence steps back on the court Tuesday at the University of Montana at 11:30 a.m. in an exhibition game.
