WHITEFISH — Kelsey Shaver of the University of Providence is the Frontier Conference attacker of the week, the league announced Monday.
Shaver is a 5-foot-10 junior outside hitter from Scotts Valley, Calif. She averaged 18.5 kills per set with a .198 hitting percentage. She also recorded 13.5 digs per set.
The Argos went 1-1 in the opening week of conference play. No. 15 Providence lost to No. 23 Montana Tech 1-3 and beat Lewis-Clark State 3-2. The win over the Warriors snapped an eight-match winning streak.
