BILLINGS – Rocky Mountain College head men’s basketball coach Bill Dreikosen announced Tuesday that Darius Henderson has signed a letter of intent to join the program in the fall.

From Los Angeles, Calif., Henderson joins the Battlin’ Bears after playing for East Los Angeles College. The six-foot-two-inch guard averaged 7.3 points per game with the Huskies. He shot 46 percent from the field, 38 percent from beyond the arc, and 85 percent on free throws. Henderson helped the Huskies win the South Coast Conference North Division championship in 2019. The team finished 24-5 overall and 9-1 in conference.

“We like that Darius comes from a winning program. He brings an excellent skillset that will compliment our current players,” said Dreikosen. “Darius has a very good basketball IQ along with a versatility on both ends of the floor.”

Henderson attended Taft High School. He is the son of Nia Henderson.
