KANSAS CITY – Rocky Mountain College’s Reece Nilsen and Michael Tait were both selected as 2019 Third Team All-Americans by the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) Thursday.
Nilsen ended the season ranked 40th among NAIA golfers with a scoring average of 73.19. Nilsen finished the 2019 NAIA Men’s Golf National Championship individually in 44th at 18-over-par 302.
Tait finished the season ranked 43rd among NAIA golfers with a scoring average of 73.29. At the 2019 NAIA Men’s Golf National Championship, he finished in 48th at 20-over-par 304. Tait ranked first in par-3 scoring at three under-par at nationals.
Both players were also selected in 2019 to the NAIA PING All-Region West Team by the Golf Coaches Association of America.
