BILLINGS  – Rocky Mountain College head men’s basketball coach Bill Dreikosen announced Wednesday that Kalvin Bowen has signed a letter of intent to join the program in the fall.

Bowen joins the Battlin’ Bears from Idaho Falls High School in Idaho Falls, Idaho. The 6-foot point guard averaged 15.3 points and 3.5 rebounds per game as a Tiger. He shot 46.2 percent from the field and was good for 41 percent from beyond the arc. Bowen helped lead the Tigers to their first state basketball title since 1988 and was selected the 2019 Boy’s Basketball 4A State All-Tournament MVP.

“We are very excited to have Kalvin joining our men’s basketball program here at Rocky. He has many strengths including his court vision, ability to score, and he knows how to win,” said Dreikosen. “He is a tremendous person who will make those around him better on and off the court.”

Bowen will pursue a degree in health and human performance with a concentration in sports management. He is the son of Kristy Bowen.
