KANSAS CITY – Rocky Mountain College junior forward Jared Samuelson has been named a 2019 NAIA Division I men’s basketball third-team all-American.
Samuelson ranked second among Frontier Conference players in both scoring and rebounding, averaging 18.5 points per game and collecting 242 boards over the course of the season. He led Rocky in both categories, finishing the campaign with 592 points and scoring double digits in all but one of Rocky’s 32 games.
The former Billings West High School standout was previously named all-American honorable mention following last season. Samuelson was the 2018-19 Frontier Conference preseason player of the year and finished as a first-team all-conference selection.
