BILLINGS – Rocky Mountain College volleyball head coach Yang Yang has announced Brenna Osksa’s signing of a letter of intent for the fall of 2019.

From Plentywood, the 6-foot middle hitter and setter had a stellar career at Plentywood High School. Osksa earned first-team all-state honors for volleyball as Plentywood’s team captain the past two seasons.

“Brenna has worked hard to reach this goal,” said Plentywood coach Becky Kukowski. “I know that she will do great things for Rocky’s volleyball program.”

A multi-sport athlete, Osksa will also join Rocky’s women’s basketball team after receiving all-state honors for basketball in 2019. Osksa is a three-time volleyball all-conference player and a two-time all-conference basketball player. The Class C state track and field champion for high jump as a junior, Osksa has qualified for state the past three years.

“Brenna is a welcome addition to the Battlin’ Bears’ volleyball team. We really appreciate multi-sport athletes and understand the amount of dedication and commitment she has given her high school,” said Yang. “She is a good student-athlete that will fit right into Rocky Mountain College’s academics.”

Off the court, Osksa received academic all-state honors in all three sports for the past four years.

“I am very excited to continue my athletic and academic career at Rocky Mountain College. The campus size, athletic success and academic programs all helped me make my decision to become a Battlin’ Bear,” said Osksa. “The coaches and players have been so welcoming and I can’t wait to be apart of the team and play at the next level.”

Osksa is the daughter of Casey and Dona Osksa from Plentywood, Mont.
