Rocky Mountain College’s Craig Wilmore in ‘Dark Horse Dunker’ competition

BILLINGS – Rocky Mountain College guard Craig Wilmore has been selected to compete nationally in Intersport’s “Dark Horse Dunker” competition. The winner is invited to participate in the 2019 State Farm College Slam Dunk & 3-Point Championships on April 4 in Minneapolis, Minn.

The senior from Daytona Beach, Fla., is one of 16 under-the-radar players selected nationally for a four-week bracket-style competition online at darkhorsedunker.com. Fans can vote daily to decide the winner of each match-up based on video highlight reels.

The winning “Dark Horse Dunker” is invited to compete in the College Slam Dunk Championship with the country’s top college dunkers. The event will be broadcast during college championship weekend on ESPN .

Voting opened Tuesday and will continue through March 22. Each round lasts one week.

  • Round One: Feb. 19 through Feb. 26 (16 Players)
  • Quarterfinals: Feb. 27 through March 6  (8 Players)
  • Semifinals: March 7 through March 14  (4 Players)
  • Finals: March 15 through March 22  (2 Players)
