WHITEFISH – Five Rocky Mountain College student-athletes earned Frontier Conference athlete of the week honors on Monday.
Jared Samuelson earned the men’s basketball player of the week honor. The junior from Billings averaged 23 points and 10.5 rebounds over the weekend as the Battlin’ Bears recorded wins against Montana Western and Lewis-Clark State.
Isaac Petsch earned the men’s track athlete of the week. The junior from Billings finished third in the 800-meter run with a time of 1 minute, 59.93 seconds during the 2019 Dave Little Alumni Mile.
Jatinas Sattoriva earned the women’s indoor track athlete of the week honor. The sophomore from Ojai, Calif., finished second in the 400-meter run with a time of 1:06.33 during the 2019 Dave Little Alumni Mile.
Michael Lee earned the men’s field athlete of the week. The freshman from Kalispell, Mont., earned a first place finish in the shot put with 14.22m/46’8″ during the 2019 Dave Little Alumni Mile.
Rayna Laakso earned the women’s indoor track athlete of the week. The sophomore from Park City finished third in the high jump with a height of 1.45 meters (4 feet, 9 inches) and third in the long jump with a mark of 4.62 meters (15-02).
