Rocky Mountain College finishes third at Dave Little Alumni Mile

SPEARFISH, S.D. – Rocky Mountain College’s track and field teams each finished third among five competing teams at the Dave Little Alumni Mile.

Rocky’s men’s distance medley relay finished in third with a time of 10:37.29. The team’s time, after adjusting for altitude, is 10:31.28 and currently fourth in the 2018-2019 NAIA Indoor Qualifying List.

Rocky’s Michael Lee finished first in shot put after throwing for 14.22m/46’8″.

Brenden Leaming finished in second in the 60m with a time of 7.16. The senior’s time of 23.29 in the 200m placed him in fourth in the event.

Isaac Petsch finished the 800m in third on a time of 1:59.93. Adjusting for altitude, Petsch sits in 31st place in the 2018-2019 NAIA Indoor Qualifying List with a time 1:59.54.

As for Rocky’s women’s track and field team, Jatinas Sattoriva finished in 2nd during the 400m with a time of 1:06.33.

Bailey Bard ran to a third place finish in the 200m with a time of 27.96.

Morgan Allen finished in 2nd for the high jump after jumping 1.50m/4’11”. Not far behind her teammate, Rayna Laakso placed third on a jump of 1.45m/4’9″.

Laakso also finished third in the long jump with 4.62m/15’2″.
