BILLINGS – Rocky Mountain College volleyball head coach Laurie Kelly has announced Kiarah Coulter’s signing of a Letter-of-Intent for the Fall of 2019.

The 5’4″ all-around player from Powder River High School was selected first team all-conference after totaling 300 kills and 200 digs in her senior year.

“Kiarah is not only an outstanding athlete and volleyball player, but an outstanding young lady,” said Powder River High School volleyball head coach, Gordon Archer. “I am so excited that Kiarah has the opportunity to play volleyball at the next level, especially for the elite volleyball program that Coach Kelly and her staff have built at Rocky.”

A multi-sport athlete, Coulter has competed in volleyball, basketball and track. She qualified for state track in five events as a junior and was first team all-conference in basketball.

“Kiarah has seen success in so many different sports. She has a passion for volleyball and I am eager to watch her grow when concentrating on one sport.” said Kelly. “We are excited to welcome this remarkable student-athlete into our program.”

Coulter will pursue a major in Health and Human Performance with a minor in coaching. Her goal is to be a future athletic trainer.

I chose Rocky because when I went on my college visit I really liked all of the facilities on the campus and the people I talked to were very welcoming. Coming from a smaller school it made me feel at home,” said Coulter. “I also enjoyed the girls on the volleyball team and how they acted as though they were a family. I’m super exited to be a part of that.”
