Rocky Mountain College basketball women fall short against Corban, 65-52

KIRKLAND, Wash. – The Rocky Mountain College women’s basketball team couldn’t surpass the Corban Warriors Friday night in a 65-52 loss.

The No. 24 ranked Battlin’ Bears went into the half with a 29-24 lead. However, nearly three minutes into the third quarter, Corban took the lead and never looked back.

The Battlin’ Bears shot only 38.5% from the floor in comparison to Corban’s 51.1%.

Brooke Jones led the Battlin’ Bears with 12 points on the night with three rebounds.

Rocky will stay in Kirkland, Wash. to play another Cascade Collegiate Conference foe, Northwest. That game will take place at 9 p.m. MST / 8:00 p.m. PST.
