Four Rocky Mountain College athletes earn Frontier honor

BILLINGS – Four Rocky Mountain College student-athletes earned conference player of the week honors.

Hayden Flohr earned the Women’s Golfer of the Week honor for the Frontier Conference.The junior from Billings, Mont. shot a 2-over-par 146 at the Lilac Collegiate to earn herself individual medalist honors. Her second round score of 72 was the lowest score among the women’s teams.

Reece Nilsen earned the Men’s Golfer of the Week honor for the Frontier Conference for the second week in a row. The sophomore from Tuscon, Ariz. earned individual medalist honors after shooting an even par 140 before winning in exciting fashion during playoff holes.

Hailey Copinga earned the Woman’s Volleyball Attacker of the Week honor for the Frontier Conference. The senior right side hitter from Billings, Mont. was a key part of the Battlin’ Bears efforts at the 2018 Grand View Tournament. Copinga averaged 3.53 kills a set and 4.53 digs a set with matches against nationally ranked teams such as Viterbo and Grand View.

Natalie Hilderman earned the Women’s Volleyball Setter of the Week honor for the Frontier Conference. The sophomore setter from Red Lodge, Mont. averaged 10.20 assists at the 2018 Grand View Tournament. In the match against nationally ranked No. 2 Grand View, Hilderman recorded 51 assists.
