Rocky Mountain College golf men jump to No. 10

BILLINGS – The Rocky Mountain College men’s golf team earned a No. 10 ranking in the Bushnell Golfweek NAIA Coaches Poll Thursday morning.

Originally ranked at No. 14, the Battlin’ Bears moved up four spots after securing 120 points in the poll.

Both of Rocky’s men’s and women’s golf programs swept first place in the Oredigger Invitational and the Argo Invitational.

The Battlin’ Bears are ranked No. 14 in the NAIA Men’s Golf Coaches Top 25 preseason poll.

Rocky Mountain College will host the Battlin’ Bears Invitational starting Oct. 1 at Yegen Golf Club. The two day event will be the final regular fall season golf tournament in the Frontier Conference for the men’s and women’s teams. Both events will have a 9 a.m. shotgun start Monday morning.
