Great Falls – August 29, 2018 – Rocky Mountain College women’s head golf coach Aaron Pohle has announced the signing of Hailey Derrickson’s to a National Letter-of-Intent.

Derrickson had an outstanding junior golf career at Vandegrift High School in her hometown of Austin, Texas. She earned a scoring average of 76 on the team with a cumulative GPA of 3.5 in the classroom. She received all-district, all-region, and all-state honors in 2016 and all-district and all-region honors in 2018.

“I like the campus size and the location of the school,” said Derrickson on why she chose to be a Battlin’ Bear.

Derrickson most notably won the 2016 AJGA Preview at Cimarron Hills in Georgetown, Texas.

“Anytime you sign a golfer of Hailey’s ability is special,” said Pohle. “On and off the course, Hailey embodies what we look for in a student-athlete and we look forward to seeing what the future brings.”
