DILLON — University of Montana Western head women’s basketball coach Lindsay Woolley has announced the signing of Utah State Eastern’s Alyssa Crumley to a letter of intent.

Crumley is a 5-foot-9 forward from Blackfoot, Idaho. She is a two-time all-conference selection at USU Eastern and in 49 games played for Eagles she has averaged 11.9 points and 5.4 rebounds a game.

“Alyssa will fit seamlessly into our program,” Woolley said. “She has played for a great staff at USU Eastern and is a competitive player with a high motor. We are excited for her to join us next season.”

At Snake River High School, Crumley scored more than 1,400 points in her career and was named second-team all-state in Idaho by USA Today Sports and 3A all-state first-team by the Idaho Statesman. During her senior season, she averaged 19.1 points and 8.5 rebounds a game earning her the Idaho State Journal’s Senior Athlete of the Year as well as the Bingham County Player of the Year.

She is the daughter of Tron and Kym Crumley and plans to major in physical therapy at Montana Western.
