LEWISTON, Idaho – The Montana Western Bulldogs opened up the Frontier Conference men’s basketball playoffs as an underdog against No. 14 Lewis-Clark State College on the road Wednesday. The loaded Warriors attack was too much to stop as the Bulldogs fell 94-74.

But even though the season is over for Montana Western, there was a silver lining for senior Kooper Kidgell. He scored a season-high 26 points in the contest. Junior Cedric Boone also had a strong outing, tallying 16 points.

But the Lewis-Clark offense just clicked, as the Warriors shot 61.7 percent from the field as well as 50 percent from beyond the arc. Lewis-Clark State was led by senior Dana Abe who scored 17 points.
