DILLON – University of Montana Western head women’s basketball coach Lindsay Woolley has announced the signing of Libby High School star Jayden Winslow to a NAIA National Letter of Intent.
Winslow is a 5-foot-10 guard from Libby. She is averaging 17.2 points, 6.5 rebounds, and 3.7 steals per game as a senior. She is a two-time first-team all-conference selection and was named to the second team as a freshman. The three-sport athlete is a two-time all-state selection in volleyball and a two-time second-team all-conference choice in softball.
“Jayden is a very skilled guard with good size,” Woolley said. “We really like how well she shoots the ball, and her instincts for the game are already at a high level. She is going to have a great career as a Bulldog.”
Winslow is the daughter of Wally and Cami Winslow and will graduate from Libby High School in the spring of 2019. She is a member of the National Honor Society and four-time Academic All-State selection. She plans on majoring in biology/pre-pharmacy at Montana Western.
