DILLON — University of Montana Western Director of Athletics Bill Wilson has announced the hiring of Dave Glass as Assistant Athletic Director.

Glass has spent the last two years as a manager at Green Meadow Golf Club in Hudson, N. H. overseeing day-to-day operations of the club’s two 18-hole courses.

Previously he spent two and a half years as the equipment manager at Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He oversaw the budget, managed department staff, and equipment operations of 33 varsity athletics programs.

Before his time at MIT, Glass worked as the athletic operations coordinator at Stonehill College. During his time there he worked as coordinator of camps and clinics and was the home events coordinator.

“I am excited that Dave has decided to join the Montana Western Athletic Department as our Assistant Athletic Director,” Bill Wilson said. “He has great experience at some prestigious universities. His energy and commitment to intercollegiate athletics will greatly enhance our athletic department.”

Glass also spent time coaching varsity and junior varsity baseball and basketball at local high schools

Glass obtained his masters of education in sports management from Springfield College and his bachelors of science in business management from Westfield State University where he played baseball, winning two conference championships.

Glass is expected to begin his duties at the beginning of January 2019.
