Montana Western’s Jason Ferris earns 2nd Frontier Conference player of the week honor

DILLON — Defensive Player of the Week: Jason Ferris of Montana Western, 6-foot-3, 215 lbs, junior linebacker from Dillon, Mont. In No. 19 Montana Western’s 30-10 home conference win over Carroll College, Ferris recorded fifteen total tackles, two tackles for loss (-8), one quarterback sack, three pass break-ups and an interception. The Bulldogs completed their first season sweep of Carroll in over 20 years.

Ferris currently leads the NAIA in passes defended per game (2.3) and fourth in tackles per game (12.8).

This is the second time this season that Ferris has won the award.
