BUTTE – Montana Tech head volleyball coach Brian Solomon announced the addition of three recruits for fall. The Orediggers welcome a pair of out-of-state signees in Logan Reed and Hanna Oggerino and Taylor Henley from Kalispell.

“We feel very fortunate to add so much through this recruiting class,” said Coach Solomon. “We look forward to what Hannah, Taylor and Logan will bring to Montana Tech and our gym.”

Reed, a utility hitter from Oakesdale, Wash., was a four-time state champion with 1B Oakesdale High School. Reed was selected first team all-league four times and was named first team all-state twice. She was named the all-league Player of the Year and was the 2018 1B Player of the Year.

Reed was named academic all-state three times and is a member of the National Honor Society.

Logan is the daughter of Joey and Jason. She plans on pursuing a degree in Civil Engineering and is a member of the inaugural class of the Honors College.

Oggerino, a 5-foot-7 libero, is from 4A Galena High School in Reno, Nev. The team captain was selected second team all-league as a senior. Oggerino is also a member of the Northern Nevada Juniors, the premier club in northern Nevada. She competes at the USA Junior Volleyball Championship in Dallas this weekend.

“I am thrilled to add someone like Hannah from NNJV,” said Solomon. “The level of play she is competing and training at is tremendous.”

Oggerino was also a regional qualifier in shot put in track and field.

Oggerino is the daughter of Annette and Chris. She plans on pursuing a degree in Business and Information Technology.

Henley, a 6-foot-1 middle hitter, played prep at Flathead High School. She was selected second team all-state as a senior. Henley was selected academic all-state four times.

Taylor’s grandparents are Jolene and Albert. She plans on pursuing a degree in Engineering.

The Oredigger recruiting class for next fall totals five with the three additional signees.
