Montana Tech running back Jed Fike honorable mention all-American

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Montana Tech’s Jed Fike was selected Honorable Mention to the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) All-America Team, announced today.

Fike, a 5-foot-11 junior running back, finished the season as the top rusher in the Frontier Conference with 1,340 rushing yards averaging 134 rushing yards a game. Fike’s numbers ranked him fourth in the nation in total rushing and fifth in rushing yards per game. Fike averaged 5.2 yards per carry for the season. The Harrison, Mont. native scored 10 total touchdowns on the season with nine of them coming on the ground.

The NAIA All-America teams differ from the AFCA list with the addition of an honorable
mention team this season. In total, 106 student-athletes were honored over the three teams.
