HELENA — The Carroll College Fighting Saints (RV) started their season with two impressive wins on Day One of the NAIA SoCal Classic on Friday in Lake Elsinore, California.
The Saints defeated University of Saint Kathrine 14-0 and followed up that performance with an 8-3 victory over No. 14 Vanguard.
“It’s a great day to be a Saint,” Saints coach Aaron Jackson said. “Two big team wins. Big time performances on the mound by Tess (Eaton) with a no hitter and Ali (Williams) dominating the No. 14 team in the country. Overall a great team performance.”
