Lights-out shooting leads Carroll College men past Montana Western

DILLON — Five Fighting Saints reached double figures and No. 2 Carroll College went down to Dillon and claimed a 86-75 win over Montana Western on Thursday.

Dane Warp led the way for Carroll with 26 points on 10-for-17 shooting and added seven rebounds.

Joining him in double figures were Match Burnham with 20, Ife Kalejaiye with 18, Shamrock Campbell with 12 and Sljivancanin with 10.

Sljivancanin finished with his second ever double-double of 10 points 12 rebounds.

The Saints shot 57 percent from the field, 39 percent from the three-point line and 91 percent from the foul line.

Carroll led 39-35 at halftime and then outscored Western 51-36 in the second half.

Carroll swept Western for the first time since 2007-08 season.

The Saints continue their road trip, heading down to Lewiston, Idaho, to take on No. 18 Lewis-Clark State on Saturday.
