HELENA, Mont. — Carroll College Fighting Saints softball coach Aaron Jackson released the 2019 season schedule on Thursday.

The latest campaign features a California swing, potentially a trip to Idaho, and a dip into Arizona for a few games during the non-conference section, and an exciting exhibition against in-state rival Montana.

Once the Cascade Collegiate Conference season rolls around in March, the Saints will have an even balance of home and away series — assuming weather permits.

“Once again we have put together one of the top schedules in the country,” Saints coach Aaron Jackson said. “Our non-conference schedule will prepare us for our nine week battle in the Cascade Conference. Overall our schedule should prepare us and give a great opportunity to make the postseason. It has always been a goal from the start of the program to play the best teams we can and I believe that this schedule once again accomplishes this.”

The softball season is scheduled to start Feb. 8 with the NAIA College Classic in Lake Elsinore, California. The Saints will take on seven different teams in the three-day event.
