Frontier Conference announces men’s basketball playoffs; Carroll College gets No. 1 seed

WHITEFISH — The Frontier Conference announced the seedings and matchups for the 2019 men’s basketball playoffs Saturday.

Carroll College (24-6 overall, 13-5 conference) and Lewis-Clark State (24-6, 13-5) tied at the top of the league standings, but Carroll College won the tiebreaker, giving the Saints the No. 1 seed and first-round bye in the playoffs.

Second-seeded Lewis-Clark will host No. 7 Montana Western (9-20, 3-15) in the first round. Third-seeded Rocky Mountain College (19-11, 10-8) will host No. 6 Montana Tech (16-14, 6-12), and No. 4 Montana State-Northern (17-13, 9-9) will host No. 5 Providence (18-11, 9-9) in the other first-round matchups.

All playoff games are scheduled to tip off at 7 p.m. local time. The full schedule is below.
