Rocky Mountain College women place 2nd at Montana Western Bulldog Open

DILLON, Mont. – On a hilly course over a mile in elevation, the Rocky Mountain College women’s cross country team took second place at the UM Western Bulldog Open Friday.

The Battlin’ Bears were led by freshman Sydney Little Light who finished in fifth place with a time of 20:07.65.

Courtney Hallock finished in 11th with a time of 20:38.90.

Corinne Hamilton ran a time of 21:08.90 to place in 16th. Mei-Li Stevens finished right behind her in 17th place with a time 21:22.97.

Larissa Saarel placed in 21st place after running a time of 22:00.52.

Grace Gilliand finished in 24th with 22:20.29.

Guan-Yin Stevens and Carina Bracy finished close together in 26th and 27th place with a time of 22:49.37 and 23:03.96.

Briana Haskins finished in 38th place with a time of 25:55.11.

Rocky will next run in the Frontier Conference Championships on Friday, Nov. 2.
