BILLINGS – The schedule for the 2018 Rocky Mountain College men’s soccer team was announced by head coach Richard Duffy this morning. The schedule calls for the Battlin’ Bears to play 11 games at home, including seven of the team’s 13 Cascade Collegiate Conference games.

After facing crosstown rival MSU Billings in an exhibition game on August 17, Rocky will start the season in Santa Barbara, Calif., against Westmont on August 25. That road trip continues on August 27 with a game at Marymount California.

The Battlin’ Bears will host a pair of tournaments the following two weekends with games against Briar Cliff (Sept. 1) and Mid-America Christian (Sept. 3) over Labor Day Weekend. Rocky will then face Jamestown on September 9 in the team’s final non-conference game.

CCC play begins with a road trip to Oregon to face Southern Oregon on September 14 and Oregon Tech on September 15. College of Idaho comes to Billings on September 22 before the Battlin’ Bears head to Walla Walla on September 28 and Eastern Oregon on September 30.

Rocky will close the regular season with six of the final eight games at home. The stretch begins against Carroll on October 5 and continues against Providence on October 7. Corban comes to the Magic City on October 12 with Northwest Christian visiting on October 14.

After making a road trip to Warner Pacific on October 19 and Multnomah on October 20, Rocky is home to face Evergreen State on October 26 and Northwest on October 28.

The top eight teams in the CCC standings will advance to the CCC Tournament on November 2-5 in Springfield, Ore.
