DILLON – Montana Western is continuing on the recruiting trail in the Treasure State. The Bulldogs have received a commitment from Carter Kearns from Hamilton.
Kearns led the Broncs to one of the best seasons in school history, helping Hamilton to a perfect regular season. Heading into the state tournament, Hamilton held a 23-0 record. However, the Broncs lost in the first round to eventual runner-up Billing Central before placing third in the tournament.
The senior shooting guard was a member of theMontana Sports 30-point club, scoring a season-high 37 points against Dillon last season.
Kearns is the second Montanan to head to the Bulldogs under new head coach Mike Larsen. Billings Skyview’s Jeremiah Larsen signed with Montana Western early last week.
