DILLON — After a performance that garnered all-America honors in his first season at Montana Western, Brandon Jones will be leaving the program, MTN Sports confirmed Saturday.

Jones, who said that he was unsure of his future at Western after the departure of Steve Keller in March, said that the search for a new head coach would be a major factor in his decision. The Bulldogs announced Mike Larsen as the team’s new head coach on April 27.

The Houston, Texas native averaged 16 points and 7.5 rebounds for Western, helping lead the team to a 26-8 record and a trip to the NAIA national quarterfinals.

The forward told MTN Sports he has received other offers, but has yet to make a decision on his next home.
