LA GRANDE, Ore. – A conference-high 13 members of the Carroll College softball team were named to the Academic All-Cascade Conference team, released by the association last week.
The group is led by 4.0 senior and winner of the Inaugural Halo Awards Scholar-Athlete of the Year Jaylin Kenney.
To receive the honor, a player must be at least a sophomore with a 3.2 GPA or higher.
On the field, the Saints have put up their best season in school history and this week take the field at the Cascade Championship in Ashland, Oregon, beginning Friday at 12:30 p.m.
