DILLON — The Montana Western Athletic Department will introduce its two new head coaches, Mike Larsen and Kody Lahaye on Wednesday morning.

Larsen was recently named the head coach of the men’s basketball program, replacing longtime head coach Steve Keller. Lahaye is also replacing a tenured member in the department, taking ove Olie Else’s spot as the head coach of the rodeo team.

The press conference will be held in the Straugh Gymnasium at 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday.

Larsen was an assistant at Dakota State for the past seven seasons, helping lead the Trojans to the NAIA Division II national championships four of the past five years and conference titles each of the last two.

Lahaye is the rodeo program’s first new head coach in 31 years. He was most recently an assistant coach of the Montana State rodeo team. He spent two seasons as Western’s assistant after graduating from the program in 2014.
