Rocky Mountain College volleyball adds two Montanans

BILLINGS – Rocky Mountain College volleyball Head Coach Laurie Kelly has announced the signing of student-athletes Adrian Malek and Alia Evans to a National Letter-of-Intent to become part of the Rocky volleyball program for the 2018 season.

Malek is a 5-foot-10 outside hitter from Belt High School where she excelled all four years in both basketball and volleyball. As a junior, her team won the Class C State Volleyball Championship. She earned all-state honors in volleyball all four years as well as being named Academic All-State. Malek will be majoring in Biology. She is the daughter of Ty and Alecia Malek.

Evans a 5-foot-8 setter/right side hitter from Fort Benton, Montana where she garnished First Team All-State honors this past season. She was also active in basketball and track. Evans plans to major in Health and Human Performance. She is the daughter of Kari and Michael Evans.

“Adrian and Alia are excited about working on their game in a college setting. They are both very good students and they are looking forward to the excellent academic programs here at Rocky Mountain College,” said Kelly of the two incoming student-athletes.
