BELT – Belt senior Dani Urick has signed with Montana Tech women’s basketball.

Urick is regarded as one of the best athletes in the state regardless of classification. The 5-9 guard has scored 1,498 points in four years as a Husky (14.0 average) and has career averages of 5.5 rebounds, 2.7 steals and 3.9 assists.

She has earned all-state and first-team all-conference honors every year of her high school career, to go along with four District 8C titles, three Northern C divisional titles, and two Class C state titles.

Urick is also a standout volleyball player and track and field athlete, earning multiple all-state honors in each of those sports. She’s also been named academic all-state for girls basketball twice.

“I chose Tech because I really enjoy the girls on the team, the coaching staff, and the school,” Urick said. “Tech has great facilities and provides an excellent educational opportunity for me.”

Urick plans to major in business.
