BUTTE – The Montana Tech basketball team added a huge addition to the program and they didn’t have to leave the state. Billings Senior guard Connor Kieckbusch announced on Twitter that he is headed to Butte to join the Orediggers.

The senior helped lead the Broncs to a fourth-place finish at the Class AA state tournament this year and was also given first-team all-tournament honors.
Kieckbusch, a 6-foot-0 guard, averaged 20.9 points, 3.1 assists, 2.7 rebounds and 2.8 steals per game for the Broncs. He ranked second in points, sixth in assists, second in steals, first in free throws made (131) and third in free throw percentage (87.3 percent) during Class AA’s regular season.
