MSU-Northern’s Chris Nile snags final NAIA wrestler of the week honor

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Chris Nile of Montana State-Northern has been named the NAIA National Wrestler of the Week, announced Wednesday by the national office. He was chosen based on his performances from February 5 – 11. Nile is the final national weekly award winner for the 2017-18 season.

• In a dual against rival Providence (Mont.), Nile, who is unranked, defeated then-No. 4 Adrian Lyons-Lopez, 4-3.
• The victory helped No. 13 Montana State-Northern to a 27-15 victory over the then-No. 6 Argos.
