HELENA — It appears Carroll College is back on track.

The No. 14 Fighting Saints got a game-high 25 points from Ryan Imhoff and routed MSU-Northern 78-43 on Saturday evening. Imhoff made 10 of 20 field goals and hauled in seven rebounds as Carroll won its third consecutive Frontier Conference men’s basketball game.

Northern took a quick 4-0 lead behind Charles Porter and Ryan Reeves, but the Saints wasted little time stealing the lead for good. Imhoff’s bucket in the paint at the 13:46 mark in the first half gave Carroll a 10-9 lead, and the Saints never trailed again.

Lorel Johnson scored 13 points and had three assists for the Saints, while Ife Kalejaiye added 10 points and three steals. Nine of the 12 Carroll athletes that played, scored in the contest. Carroll shot 54 percent in the win.

Ryan Reeves led MSU-Northern with 12 points.
