WHITEFISH – Hannah Dean of Carroll College was named the Frontier Conference’s women’s basketball player of the week. The league announced the news on Monday.
Dean is a 6-foot-1 junior center from Gardiner. The 24th-ranked Saints scored two top-10 upsets over the weekend, running past No. 10 Montana Western 82-45 on Thursday and winning a hard-fought game against No. 7 Lewis-Clark State 73-67 on Saturday.
For the weekend, Dean averaged 18.5 points, 9.5 rebounds, 2.5 assists, two blocks and one steal. She was 17 of 34 from the field and made all three of her free throw attempts.
