BILLINGS – Rocky Mountain College football player Zane Guse was awarded the Berv and Virginia Kimberly scholarship this past fall.

Guse, a 6-foot-4 junior offensive lineman, is from Billings Skyview High School. He started all 11 games at right tackle last season.

The Kimberly award is given to a member of the Battlin’ Bears football team from the Billings/Laurel area and must be at least a sophomore with the intent of a future career in coaching.

Berv Kimberly, a 1956 graduate of Rocky, where he participated in athletics and was coached by Herb Klindt, is a former West High football coach. He was inducted into the Rocky Mountain College Clara Klindt Athletic Hall of Fame in 1999.
