LEWISTON, Idaho - The No. 9 Rocky Mountain College Battlin' Bears took second place at the Warrior Fall Invitational in Lewiston, Idaho, finishing 11 strokes behind first place hosts Lewis-Clark State. Rocky ended the three-round tournament at 887.

Daniel Sigurjonsson led the Bears by shooting two-under-par 217 to finish third individually. The Frontier Conference Men's Golfer of the Week shot a first round of 77 before finishing with two straight rounds of 70. Sigurjonsson finished the tournament with 12 birdies which counted as second most among the 48 golfers competing.

Chase Morehouse shot five-over-par 221 to tie with Montana Tech's Sean Ramsbacher in sixth place. Morehouse finished the first day with rounds of 74 and 75 before shooting 72 during the third round on the following day.

Finishing a stroke behind in eighth place, Mitchell Thiessen finished with a score of 222 with rounds of 77, 71, and 74.

Haydn Drive tied for 14th place with a score of 227 while Schaefer Paladichuk finished in 38th with a score of 242.

The Battlin' Bears shot 156 pars and 40 birdies.
