Rocky Mountain College men, Carroll College women add cross country wins

HELENA -- The Rocky Mountain College men and Carroll College women claimed the cross country team titles at the Frontier Conference Rumble on Thursday at Tenmile Creek Park.

Rocky's Jackson Wilson placed first in the men's 8K, finishing with a time of 26 minutes, 52.20 seconds. Montana State-Northern's Field Soosloff (27:08.70), Carroll College's Spencer Swaim (27:18.40), Carroll's James Normandeau (27:22.80) and Montana Tech's Henry Kakalecik (27:28.90) rounded out the top five.

Wilson paced Rocky's men, who finished with 45 places. Joseph Vanden Bos (eighth, 28:12.30) and Nicolal Piliero (ninth, 28:14.30) added top-10 finishes for the Battlin' Bears. Carroll's men were second with 47 places, followed by Tech with 65, Montana Western with 82 and MSU-Northern with 86. For complete men's results, click here.

Carroll's women cruised to the team title, finishing with 32 places, 22 ahead of second-place Montana Western. The Fighting Saints were led by Reghan Worley (fourth overall, 18:52.00), Natalie Yocum (fifth, 18:59.50 and Elly MacHado (sixth, 19:19.90). Katelyn McKay (ninth, 19:35.60) added another top-10 finish for the Saints.

Montana Tech's Becca Richtman won her second consecutive race, crossing the finish line in 18:28.80. As a team, the Orediggers finished third with 67 places. Rocky Mountain College was fourth with 85.

Anna Rogahn, running unattached, placed second in the women's race, and Montana Western's Eireann O'Connor was third. For complete women's results, click here.
