Rocky Mountain College, Carroll College athletes named Frontier volleyball players of the week

WHITEFISH – Carroll College and Rocky Mountain College student-athletes were selected for Frontier Conference volleyball player of the week awards on Monday. No. 18 Rocky Mountain went 2-0 in its weekend home series against Carroll College, winning both matches in four sets.

Attacker of the Week: Taelyr Krantz of Carroll College is a 6-foot junior outside hitter from Helena. Krantz averaged 4.25 kills with an attack percentage of .403. She also recorded three solo blocks and five assisted blocks.

Defender of the Week: Ayla Embry of Rocky Mountain College is a 5-4 sophomore libero from Bozeman. Embry averaged 10 digs per set. She now leads the NAIA in digs per set with 7.9.

Setter of the Week: Natalie Hilderman of Rocky Mountain College is a 6-1 senior setter from Red Lodge. Hilderman averaged 11.13 assists and 2.25 digs per set.
