WHITEFISH – Zaccheus Darko-Kelly of the University of Providence was selected the Frontier Conference’s men’s basketball player of the week.
Darko-Kelly is a 6-foot-6 junior forward from Great Falls.
Seventh-ranked Providence won two games at the Cactus Classic in Gilbert, Ariz. The Argos beat Park University-Gilbert (Ariz.) 92-67 and Benedictine-Mesa (Ariz.) 96-74.
Darko-Kelly averaged 26.5 points, six rebounds, 6.5 assists and 4.5 steals over the two games. He was 22 of 31 from the field (71 percent), 7 of 13 from 3-point range and 2 of 3 at the free throw line.
