KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- Providence and Carroll College each inched up the NAIA Division I men's basketball coaches' top 25 poll, which was released Wednesday.

Lewis-Clark State, the highest-ranked Frontier Conference team, slipped in the rankings from third to seventh after suffering losses to Montana Tech and Carroll last week. The Warriors (25-3 overall, 13-3 Frontier Conference) are still two games ahead of Providence and Carroll to lead the league standings.

Providence, behind the unprecedented play of Zaccheus Darko-Kelly, is back in the top 10. The Argos (23-5, 11-5) have won their past three games and are now ranked 10th. They have a huge game at Carroll on Thursday before closing out the regular season at home against Montana State-Northern, which also received votes in the national rankings, on Saturday.

Carroll (20-8, 11-5) hosts MSU-Northern in its regular-season finale on Friday.

The Frontier Conference playoffs begin March 3.

Mid-America Christian (Okla.) received all nine first-place votes to replace Georgetown (Ky.) at the top of the poll. Georgetown is second, LSU Shreveport (La.) third, Dalton State (Ga.) fourth and William Penn (Iowa) fifth. The complete poll is below.
