GREAT FALLS — The Providence men stayed perfect, and the women won their first conference game of the year as the Argos swept MSU-Northern on Thursday.
The Argo women won 68-64 to hand the Skylights their second straight conference loss. Emilee Maldonado scored 27 points and added four assists and four steals. Kenedy Cartwright added 16. McKenzie Gunter led Northern with 15, while Allix Goldhahn and Hailey Nicholson each scored 14.
Providence moves to 10-5, while Northern falls to 13-3.
The Providence men made their record 15-0 with a 100-65 thrashing of the Lights. Brandon Cotton and Zaccheus Darko-Kelly each dropped 23 points for the Argos. Dawson Fowler added 16.
The Northern men fall to 11-5.
