HAVRE — After getting swept at home just more than two weeks prior, the Montana State University-Northern men's and women's basketball teams exacted revenge on Carroll College on Wednesday, sweeping the Saints and ending multiple losing streaks in the process.

The Northern women won 70-62, ending a six-game losing streak to Carroll dating back to 2017. Kenya Lorton scored 19 for Northern, followed by Peyton Kehr with 16 and Allix Goldhahn with 15.

Dani Wagner scored 15 for Carroll, followed by Kamden Hilborn with 14. Northern improved to 15-4 overall, including a 4-3 mark in Frontier Conference play. Carroll fell to 13-6 overall, 5-2 in conference.

The Northern men ended a four-game losing streak on the season with a 58-48 win. The Lights held Carroll to less than 35 percent shooting from the field. Mascio McCadney scored 19 for Northern. Dane Warp led Carroll with 19.
