WHITEFISH – Montana Tech’s Sean Ramsbacher and Becca Richtman were named the Frontier Conference men's golfer and women's runner of the week, the league announced Monday.

Ramsbacher, a junior from Missoula, won the Carroll College Invitational last week, shooting a 4-under 68 in the 18-hole tournament. Ramsbacher helped push the team to a sudden death playoff with Rocky Mountain with a birdie on the 18th hold of regulation play. Ramsbacher birdied on the Hole 10 playoff to lead the Orediggers to their second team tournament victory of the season.

The Orediggers head to Billings on Oct. 4 for the final Frontier Conference meet of the fall.

Richtman, a senior from Elburn, Illinois, won her second straight Frontier Conference cross country meet last week at the Frontier Conference Rumble in Helena. Richtman finished 14 seconds ahead of the next runner and broke her own school record with a time of 18:28 in the 5,000-meter race.

Montana Tech travels to Billings on Oct. 9 for the Rocky Mountain College Invitational.
