BUTTE -- The Montana Tech men’s golf team received the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA) President’s Special Recognition Honors. The GCAA named 250 Outstanding Academic Award winners, but the Oredigger teams had GPAs higher than 3.5 to receive the additional recognition.
Carroll College also received the honor after posting a 3.445 GPA during the 2019-20 school year.
In all, 250 teams across all NCAA divisions and the NAIA were named to the national award.
